Contact — Staying Rounded

If you’ve spent any time on this site, you already know I tend to go deep rather than wide. So this page isn’t a formality—it’s an actual invitation.

I hear from people at all kinds of crossroads. Some are standing in a flat that suddenly feels too large, too loud, or simply not theirs anymore. Others are trying to figure out what “home” even means when life has shifted beneath their feet. A few are just tired—of clutter, of upkeep, of the quiet pressure to want more space than they actually need.

Wherever you are in that, you’re welcome here.

Why reach out?

A few honest reasons people write to me:

  • You’re considering a downsize and want to talk through the emotional side—not just the logistics.
  • You’re in the middle of decluttering and hit a wall. (It’s rarely about the stuff.)
  • You’re researching a move to a smaller city or a quieter neighbourhood and want grounded, firsthand perspective.
  • You have a story about redefining home that you think might resonate with this community.
  • You want to share feedback on something I’ve written—especially if it challenged you.

I read every message. I can’t always reply quickly, but I do reply.

How to get in touch

Email me directly at:

[email protected]

That’s it. No contact form, no dropdown menus asking you to categorize yourself. Just a regular inbox, and a real person on the other side.

If you’re writing about something specific—a particular article, a decision you’re wrestling with, a place you’re considering—mention it. Context helps me give you a better response.

A small note

I’m not a real estate agent, a financial advisor, or a therapist. I don’t sell courses or offer coaching packages. What I share comes from lived experience: a decade of work around intentional living, a personal downsizing journey I’m still learning from, and conversations with people who’ve chosen to build home differently.

If you’re looking for someone to tell you exactly which apartment to buy or whether now is the right time, I can’t offer that. But if you want to explore the questions underneath those decisions—the ones about what you actually need, what you’re ready to release, and what “settled” might look like for you—then I think we’ll have a meaningful exchange.

I look forward to hearing from you.
