About Staying Rounded
Staying Rounded began with a simple, persistent question: what does it actually take to feel whole? For years, I explored the rhythms of mindful living—how small daily choices shape our energy, our focus, our sense of purpose. I wrote about intentional routines, the power of letting go, and the quiet practices that help us stay balanced. But the deeper I went, the more I realised that none of this exists in a vacuum. Our physical space either anchors those intentions or quietly unravels them.
That realisation hit home for me personally when I downsized from a sprawling flat to a compact apartment in Pune. It wasn’t a story of sacrifice. It was a recalibration. I stopped asking “how much space can I afford?” and started asking “what kind of space allows me to breathe?” That shift rewired how I saw everything—from the objects I kept to the neighbourhoods I considered. Home stopped being a backdrop and became the foundation of my wellbeing.
Today, Staying Rounded is a space for Indians who feel that their living situation no longer fits the life they want. Maybe your home feels too heavy to maintain, or too far from the community you crave. Maybe you’re standing at the edge of a big decision—buying, renting, relocating—and the usual advice feels hollow. I get that. And I’m here to walk through it with you, step by step.
This is not about chasing minimalist aesthetics or following real estate trends. It’s about learning to make decisions from a place of clarity. I write about:
- Downsizing with intention—letting go of what no longer serves you, without guilt or rush.
- Mindful home buying—asking the right questions before you sign, so your investment aligns with your values.
- Settling into grounded living—creating a home that feels calm, rooted, and truly yours, wherever you are.
Every piece of guidance I share comes from lived experience and over a decade of helping people design lives that feel whole. I don’t offer checklists that work for everyone. I offer frameworks that help you listen to what you actually need—and then act on it. Because when your home supports your wellbeing, the rest of life has room to settle into place.
Staying Rounded is not about the perfect house. It’s about the home that lets you be fully, quietly yourself. I’m glad you’re here.
